On the evening of 4th September 2024, the 18th Inauguration Ceremony of the Taoist Federation (Singapore) was held at the Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple. The new Management Committee members solemnly took their oaths in the presence of Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office Mr. Desmond Tan, and Legal Advisor Ms. Jennifer Lim Lay Choo, pledging their dedication to the Taoist cause and the Federation’s mission. President Mr. Tan Thiam Lye BBM(L) and Vice President Mr. Terence Lee delivered speeches during the event.

Minister Mr. Desmond Tan also addressed the gathering, encouraging the Taoist Federation to continue promoting racial and religious harmony in Singapore. Minister Tan then presented the appointment certificates to the council members. The ceremony was witnessed by prominent guests, including Mr. Gurmit Singh, President of the IRO, the religious leaders, and Mr. Chua Eng Leong, Advisor to the Eunos Grassroots Organizations.
